The Emerald Villa is situated in the prestigious enclave area of the popular “Emerald Island resort”. The enclave consists of the largest and more luxurious homes at the resort. The Emerald Villa is sited on an extra large plot that offers extra peace, quiet and privacy. The Southerly facing pool deck backs onto a lake and has beautiful views of a lake and woodland / lowland nature preserve.
The villa has 7 bedrooms, 5½ bathrooms and it will comfortably sleep 14 to 16 persons (plus infants).
It is of the “Palm Harbour” design built by Park Square Homes to a very high standard. There are four master bedrooms and three twin rooms. All bedrooms have adjoining bathrooms. There is also a fantastic games room complete with a pool table, air hockey, foosball and much more besides.
The furnishings are of an extremely high standard throughout making this a true home from home, and the home is maintained to an extremely high standard by our caretaker. Nothing has been overlooked in this home and guest comfort is paramount. For that reason we ask that guests refrain from bringing pets or from smoking within the home. |

The Majestic Red Master Suite
This suite is situated on the ground floor with alarmed doors to the pool area and door through to the Family room this is the largest of the Master suites and first choice for some guests. This room is furnished with a huge kingsize four poster bed with pillow-top quality hypoallergenic bedding. This master suite has a television and very large private bathroom which is the largest at the villa and a large walk in closet with secure safe for your valuables.
The Gold Master Suite
This suite is situated on the first floor above the red room with beautiful views over the pool, lake and nature preserve beyond. The height of luxury this beautiful pecan wood king-size four poster bed is our personal favourite. This room has a private bathroom and door through on to the Gallery landing
The Lilac Master Suite
The Imposing Lilac Master suite is located on the First floor at the front of the villa overlooking the resort. This queen size room has a beautiful Greek / Roman style four poster bed and its own private bathroom with seating area and large storage closet.
The Green Room
The Opulent Green room is situated on the first floor of the villa overlooking the resort. This room boasts a queen size French style four poster bed and furniture and a 36" HD LCD screen complete with HD viewing. The adjoining bathroom is shared with the twin room but it can be locked off to make this the 4th and final master suite
The Twin Room
The Unassuming Twin room is located on the first floor overlooking the resort with doors to the bathroom and the gallery landing. This room is finished with neutral tones and furnishings to appeal to a wider range of tastes with two traditional natural wood sleigh beds and furniture. The adjoining bathroom is shared with the Green room but can be made private to either. As in all the bedrooms hypoallergenic pillow top bedding is provided for your comfort.
The Fairy Room
The Delightful Fairy room is situated on the first floor overlooking the pool, lake and nature preserve beyond. This is a room fit for fairy tale princesses with gorgeous four poster fairy beds and fairy furnishings. A high quality air bed is available to sleep an extra child by prior arrangement. A television and games are provided to keep them entertained after all the excitement at the theme parks.
The adjoining ocean themed bathroom is shared between the Cowboy and Fairy rooms.
The Cowboy Room
The Gun slinging Cowboy room is situated on the first floor between the Green and Fairy rooms with a door leading onto the gallery landing. This room is all about boys! A selection of games has been provided to keep them happily entertained when they aren't at the OK Corral... A high quality air bed is also available to sleep one extra child by prior arrangement. |

Situated at the rear of the villa on the ground floor next to the kitchen, Game room, The Red room and with alarmed sliding doors leading out onto the lanai and pool area the Family room is a place to unwind at the end of it all. This area has been furnished with extremely large and comfortable leather sofas and casual furnishings to keep it simple whilst remaining as well appointed as the other rooms.

| There really is only one place to start when looking at theme park attractions and that is of course Disney. That magic mouse! Walt Disney World is less than 3 miles away from the Emerald Island Resort by car. Any closer and you will need a park pass! The magic of Disney has to be experienced to be believed (however old or cynical you are!) and a visit to Florida would not be complete without a visit to see Mickey and his pals. Disney world spills out beyond the park gates into downtown Disney where you'll find amusements, shops, restaurants and attractions. The Rainforest cafe is well worth a visit with it's cacophony of tropical rainstorms complete with thunder and lightning under the cafe roof. This is amazing and really reflects what Disney is all about - and other shops, restaurants and attractions. |

| Universal Studios is just a short drive away and is an excellent day or two out for the thrill seekers among you. Mind you, if its thrills you're after Busch Gardens in Tampa (about 1½ hours drive) is also a good place to find them and I would argue the coasters are better at Busch. Busch gardens has a really beautiful landscape savannah complete with all manner of safari animals and birds combined with the maddest coasters I've ever seen, this theme park has something to offer everyone in the family. One of the roller coasters is actually built with wood! Just the thought of being on that wooden roller coaster again as it shakes and creaks ominously even before the first dive is enough to make me want to reach out and hold onto something. Below is one of the lions we met in the safari area at Busch Gardens - so close you could almost tweak its whiskers! |

If golf is your interest then there are more than enough golf courses dotted around the Kissimmee area, and many close to the resort, to keep even the keenest golfer busy. Not far away is the multi award winning Falcons Fire golf course designed by Rees Jones. It is a 6,900 yard 72 par 18 hole course that boasts tournament playing conditions all year round, and is certainly one of the best courses in central Florida. Another course about a mile away is the much praised Mystic Dunes golf course which is a par 71, 18 hole,
7,012 yard course designed by PGA Tour player and NBC analyst Gary Koch. It claims to have the best finishing four that can be found anywhere (that is, according to Golf and Leisure magazine). Many other courses are within a short distance.
For the less serious golfer - and some light-hearted entertainment, try one of the many crazy golf courses that can be found along Highway 192. |

Cancellation policy
With the two payment methods listed above the following cancellation policies apply
Non Refundable
If you book via this method your accommodation is paid for in full upon booking, should you however have to cancel Global Getaways will re-advertise the accommodation and if we can re-sell the accommodation booked we will return 50% of all monies paid.
Fully Refundable
If you book via this method your accommodation is paid for on our company credit card upon your arrival at the complex, should you however have to cancel all monies paid will be returned up to seven days prior to your arrival date – unfortunately cancellation within the seven days prior to arrival cannot be refunded.
