This self-catering apartment is ideally situated, close to several 5 star hotels and the Forum Madeira Shopping complex approximately 2.5 miles to the west of central Funchal on the top floor of a charming 2-storey traditional building, with palm trees and sub-tropical plants to the front and panoramic sea views to the rear. Available also is the adjacent apartment Thea.

Thea and Delphi apartments have the same layout and comprise of entrance hall with kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and lounge leading off. The fitted kitchen with marble worktops is fully equipped and includes a full-size electric cooker, microwave oven, fridge, an iron and ironing board. There is also an automatic washing machine.

Bedrooms:

The bedroom, with polished wooden floor, has a double bed , bedside tables with lamps, rattan 3-drawer chest and a large fitted wardrobe. There is also a hairdryer. A door leads onto the balcony, which has a spectacular view over the sea.

Bathrooms:

The newly-refurbished bathroom has a hand basin, WC, bath with shower attachment and a marble floor.

Lounge / Dining:

The lounge is beautifully furnished with comfortable sofas and chairs, occasional tables and limited edition artwork. There is a dining area with table and chairs, complemented by a polished wooden floor. The apartment has cable TV, DVD player and Wi-Fi broadband. A large window looks out to sea and a door leads onto the balcony. The balcony has a table and chairs, the ideal place to enjoy a drink and watch the sun go down!

Ammenities:

The eco-bus is 100m from the apartment and runs every 10 minutes into Central Funchal (Centro) and a supermarket and restaurants are 5 minutes' walk away. Funchal city centre is a 10-minute ride on the bus. Natural rock pools for swimming are just a few minutes' walk from the apartment, as is the lovely Coastal Promenade and the Forum Madeira shopping centre. A fact sheet, packed with places to visit and suggested restaurants, is full of useful tips and would be sent to you when you book.

Airport:

Regular flights (approximately 3.5 hours) depart UK airports. We can arrange collection from the airport at a standard cost of 30 euros.

Booking Notes:

Deposit: A none refundable deposit will be required upon booking

Balance: The remaining balance of you holiday will be due 6 weeks prior to departure at which point a fully refundable security bond may be requested.

Cancellation policy
With the two payment methods listed above the following cancellation policies apply

Non Refundable
If you book via this method your accommodation is paid for in full upon booking, should you however have to cancel Global Getaways will re-advertise the accommodation and if we can re-sell the accommodation booked we will return 50% of all monies paid.

Fully Refundable
If you book via this method your accommodation is paid for on our company credit card upon your arrival at the complex, should you however have to cancel all monies paid will be returned up to seven days prior to your arrival date – unfortunately cancellation within the seven days prior to arrival cannot be refunded.
